Over the years THE FLYING LUTTENBACHERS have changed their sound after each release adding and subtracting members and instruments. Sometimes they improvise freely with horns, upright bass and drums, sometimes they play something dubbed "neo no-wave", other times it's something else entirely. This is an extremely talented and creative group of musicians who play fast, tight, heavy, well-constructed and smart music. The enclosed booklet contains biographical and source information about each track. You will find no borders and no genres within this music. Elements of grindcore, free improvisation, metal, prime no wave and chaos are whipped into a smashing blend for your auditory and emotional edification. If you are the sort of person who appreciates Peter Brotzmann, Red Transistor and Discordance Axis you probably will groove to this musical misadventure. 16 tracks total int 72:38 minutes. "
FORSTELLA FORD - "quietus" (LEVEL PLANE) - 4e, 250 den.
Milwaukee's best have compressed the chaos and intensity of their previous offerings into an unstoppable assualt of fury and beauty, and they can go from one to another with indecent ease. GARMONBOZIA - s/t (PROFANE EXISTENCE) - 5e, 300 den.
"The long-awaited debut CD from Garmonbozia, whose previous demo and comp. track releases did a complete injstice to their sound. Haunting crust from Minneapolis with female vocals and cello, which varies from quiet and intricate melodies, to full-on d-beat thrash. They have been compared to the sounds of Remains of the Day and Monuments to Ruins. Contains one unreleased track."
GASP - "an earwigs guide to traveling" (AVANGARDE FARM) - 8.5e, 500 den.
A long-awaited n' crucial collection of pretty much everything this cult California psych-violence/drone-grind released, aside from the Dome Triler Of Puzzle Zoo People LP on Slap A Ham (which we also stock here at Crucial Blast). These guys were WAY ahead of their time: Between 1996 and 1999, GASP emitted bizarre frenquencies of avant-powerviolence that was beyond anything else going on at the time (think mid/late 90's, at the fever pitch of the West Coast extreme hardcore movement). Hallucinogenic, brain warping, brutally heavy. Listening to these tunes again after years of obscurity and out-of-print vinyl brings it all back...swirling together fucked up caveman grind, floating psycehdelia, ambient tape loop dreaminess, and massive, cough syrup covered sludge heaviness, GASP were like a bizarre, disorientating mix of post-MAN IS THE BASTARD power violence, TROUM's cloudy dream-drones,and NAUTICAL ALMANAC style tape manipulation, with mutant, stuttering blastbeats collapsing into dense fogs of electronic droning and crushing extreme sludge dirge bulldozing through abstract longform free psych-noise jams. This CD collects their freaking impossible-to-find vinyl splits with the likes of Noothgrush, Deerhoof, Suffering Luna, Volume 11, etc., compilation jams, unreleased songs (including the infamous Lepidostomatid 7". GASP were one of the most innovative bands to come out of this scene, and this is a killer document of their non-album stuff. Highly recommended.
GEISHA "mondo dell orrore" (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 7e, 420 den.
Devouring and rebirthing the concept of "noise rock" into something frighteningly beautiful and brutally heavy, GEISHA deliver crushing blasts of impossibly hyperdistorted rock baked in massive frequency overload and massive hooks, beautiful melodies and sinister crushing riffs, all slathered in filthy throbbing feedback and white noise horror holocaust, like Isn't Anything-era MY BLOODY VALENTINE and UNSANE and DINOSAUR JR. mashed together into a sludgy metallic mass, jamming with a small army of pedal-smashing harsh noise troglodytes playing awesomely catchy/crushing pop songs buried beneath a hellish storm of skree and fuzz and amp-blowing distortion. Terrifying and beautiful.
GELAGAT/ NG - split (PMK) - 1.5e, 100 den.
GENGHIS TRON - "dead mountain mouth" (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 7e, 420 den.
Dead Mountain Mouth is the debut album and follow-up to Genghis Tron's imaginative debut EP, Cloak Of Love. Recorded at Godcity Studios with Kurt Ballou (Converge), Dead Mountain Mouth moves beyond the rapid-fire electro/grind genre-splicing of Cloak Of Love, and forms something more fluid and cohesive, an arcane union of digital dreams and brutal heaviness, where speedcore eruptions blossom from clouds of maximum beat-driven electronic bliss, and futuristic metal riffage seethes from your speakers. These ten gloriously-dense and triumphantly catchy jams soar through valleys of immense crush and alien vistas of 8-bit wizardry unlike anything you've heard before...
GENGHIS TRON "cloak of love" (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 5e, 300 den.
Formed in early 2004, this trio has forged a brutally absurd amalgamation of shredding grindcore, slamming beats, and soaring synthpop. Think BRUTAL TRUTH in a backalley brawl with DEPECHE MODE and AFRIKKA BAMBAATA, or NAKED CITY hijacking NEW ORDER's electro melodies. The debut CD release from Poughkeepsie, NY trio GENGHIS TRON emits a thoroughly contagious fusion of electropop and grindcore as soaring melodies collide and intertwine around a cacophony of blastbeats, insane vocals, and monstrous riffs. Produced by Colin Marston (BEHOLD...THE ARCTOPUS and DYSRYTHMIA), and featuring original artwork from Jon Beasley.
GHAST/ YOGA - split (CHOKING HAZARD) - 5e, 300 den.

GOVERNMENT FLU - "fuck poetics + demo '08" (REFUSE) - 5e, 300 den.
Polish GOVERNMENT FLU (Warsaw) started in 2008 and their debut was one of the very best releases on local scene. The members of the band are well known individuals who have played throughout the years in many bands incl. KNIFE IN THE LEG, BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, THE BLACK TAPES, SIX PACK, DAYMARES or SUNRISE. Years of experience lead them straight to an uncompromising sound influenced by early 80s hardcore with their own approach and vibe - fast, tight and rockin'. CD contains songs from both 7"s on Refuse Records - "Fuck poetics" and "Demo 2008" (sold out) and additional Black Flack cover. Total 17 songs.
GRAVE IN THE SKY - "cutlery hits china" (HCB) - 6e, 360 den.
The Sludge-core scene is injected with a poison: Horror movies DVD subtitles are being gargled and forced into song lyrics, backed up by heavy poundings and black metallic space-rock dirges, on this new release from Rani Zager (Poochlatz /Lietterschpich), Maor Appelbaum (Poochlatz/Sleepless/Screening) and Matan Shmuelly (Armilos). Check this out if you're into Hey Colossus, Corrupted, Gravitar, Darkthrone and Electric Wizard.

GRIDE - "1996-2003" (PLAZZMA) - 6e, 360 den.
collection release from this insane Czech grind band! 49 songs, includes bonus enhanced multimedia track.
GROINCHURN - "already dead" 3" (CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY) - 4e, 250 den.
"I clearly remember there was another Groinchurn release with the same title which was released by band's own label Happy Hamster Records but I have no idea whether this is the reissue of it or completely a new recording. Anyway, this 3" CD is certainly the smallest music storage unit I've ever seen. Luckily, the music contained is negatively proportional with the disc size for Groinchurn's grinding South Africore takes no prisoners. Compiling rare tracks from several 7" Eps and live recordings along with two covers from Brutal Truth& Bad Brains, Already Dead accepts no excuses for being indifferent. If you enjoyed Sixtimesnine, Fink, Whoami or one of their countless split Eps, you'll most probably want to have this in your property too." (Sonic Splendor #3)

GRUESOME STUFF RELISH - "horror rises from the tomb" (NO ESCAPE) - 7e, 420 den.
This Spanish trio has been performing cannibalistic ritual sacrifices and resurrection ceremonies for the past 8 years and have mastered the ancient art of morbid and malicious old school goregrind. Their second full length invocation, ‘Horror Rises From The Tomb’ sees Gruesome Stuff Relish once again summoning unspeakable beings to terrorize, defile and consume any who’s path they shall cross, and one of those unspeakable beings is Stevo of the legendary Impetigo, lending his diseased throat to proceedings with guest vocals on the track ‘The Dead Will Walk The Earth’!
No Escape Records are thrilled to reissue this macabre masterpiece of primal gore soaked grindcore injected with a dangerously contaminated transfusion of raw and festering old school death metal, which in addition to the already cacophonous 19 tracks of catastrophically heavy grind on the album’s original release, has 2 deadly unreleased bonus tracks recorded during the same session to feed the undead legions’ ravenous appetite for carnage and bloodshed!

GRUESOME STUFF RELISH - "teenage giallo grind" (NO ESCAPE) - 7e, 420 den.
The twitching corpse of Gruesome Stuff Relish’s debut full length rises from its sodden and maggot-ridden resting place with a dose of Trioxin bumblingly administered by No Escape’s unskilled and unlicensed practitioners of medical quackery and back-alley voodoo! ‘Teenage Giallo Grind’ is a wild and perilous 30 track ride down uncharted rivers into the heart of darkness where machete-wielding cannibal savages and gut-munching zombified corpses rule the jungle with a taste for human flesh, carnage and rancid, primitive goregrind! These 3 Spanish sickos create a panic-stricken sense of dread, tension and terror as they recreate the most depraved and horrific examples of classick cannibal and zombie exploitation flicks through sheer murderous sonic force! Gruesome Stuff Relish bow at the altar of Carcass and Impetigo and channel the spirits of their grisly forefathers as they once again lay down this monstrous offering of chainsawing riffs, skull splitting drumming and stomach churning vocals, including 5 crushing and sadistic bonus tracks from the ‘Split Your Guts’ 3 way CD with Gorerotted and Gronibard! You are now a prisoner of these 3 cannibal gods, and the only mercy you can hope for is to perish before the feast begins!!

It contains material from the 'Fucking Pissed' EP, Split EP w/ Riddance, 'Fucking Noise Terror' Comp. CD and some unreleased songs as well. The almighty Hail of Rage was spawn from the ashes of Dissension by Joe Rizzi (Deformed Conscience, Toxic Narcotic, Shitlist and Inhaste). They play pissed-off manic hardcore thrash along with a cacaphony of fierce vocals and skull-crushing blast beats. The album includes 23 tracks of sick brutality!
HAISHA/ MIZUKO - split (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 4e, 250 den.
A meeting of two demented forces from the filthiest gutters of Los Angeles.HAISHA opens with a seriously grotesque noisecore/grind/trash hybrid, powered by jackhammer drum machines and miles of bad fucking attitude. Think early EARACHE grindcore, japanese trashpunk a la CONFUSE, and hardcore gabba smashed up in a crystal meth milkshake. Things only get worse when MIZUKO follow up with event-driven found sound ,grisly power electronics, and queasy death industrial that is misanthropic to its very core. Black transmissions from a rotting planet, unleashed on an unsuspecting ghost world. Presented in a sleek glossy gatefold package.
HARUM SCARUM - "live in slovenia" (NNNW) 4e, 250 den.
"The recording is taken from a radio show in Slovenia and the quality is pretty good. It captures the energy of seeing this band live... It gets in your face the same way they would. If you haven't heard them, you really should. Harums Scarum is a really excellent female anarcho-punk band from Portland. They take an aggressive stance and play crust music ith a real melodic book. Their releases so afr have all been stunnng, and being familiar with them made me like this all the more. The booklet prints all of the lyrics and has photos from their European tour of punks they met. The whole project is done well and has a really warm DIY feel. Awesome. (Heartattack Magazine)
HEAD HITS CONCRETE - "thy kingdom come undone" (CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY) - 6e, 360 den.

New school pioneers of BGHC, or better said Integrity + Trial.
HELLSHOCK - "warlord" (PROFANE EXISTENCE) - 3e, 180 den.
crust punk metal
HEY COLOSSUS - "project: death" (DIY CONSPIRACY) - 6e, 360 den.
Creeping grooves that build into thick waves of grinding downtuned riffage, with weird shouted vocals, thick with Hawkwind FX and sent drifting over HC's spiky psychedelic Krautrock stoner sludge grooves.
HIBERNATION - "into the silence of eternal sorrow" (POWER IT UP) - 6e, 360 den.
"You’ve all heard of Zeus and Apollo and the likes of them. Well, Hibernation is the Greek god of crust. Deep male vocals and screaming female vocals over slow, heavy brutality. /the guitars and bass chug along with solos over the slow, technical riffs, /mid-paced galloping hardcore kick the songs into high gear for the perfect mix. As usual, the packaging is top notch: a full color booklet featuring lyrics in both Greek and English as well as artwork and band info. A haunting display of agonizing hardcore and crust at its best." PROFANE EXISTENCE
HIT ME BACK - "life" (REFUSE) - 7.5e, 450 den.
This is full length-release from this Los Angeles straight edge hardcore punk band. After two 7's and two split 7"s we have it here thirteen brand new songs that have more influences of more anthemic and melodic early 80's punk and hardcore, but still with fast and thrash hardcore parts. You can expect lots of youthful expression and energy coming out of this record. Their lyrics covering personal and social issues, not forgetting about some humor and passions of the band members - skateboarding and records collecting. All the songs were recorded in LA by Craig Ums (What Happens Next?). CD version contains eight bonus songs. Seven of them are taken from "Only Magic School Bus Goes Back In Time" 7"ep (including Heresy cover) and one coming from the same session, previously never released.
HOLIER THAN THOU - "the hating of the guts" (SIX WEEKS) - 7e, 420 den.
HOLIER THAN THOU? has caused quite an uproar in the hardcore scene after their excellent self titled 7". Their fierce combination of lightning quick speed-core guitars, old school shouted vocal and skate-thrash style has gained instant praise and respect from hardcore fans and bands world wide. With the inevitable cry for more, Six Weeks has stepped up and released these crushing new songs, drenched in ollie grinds and rabid southern California hardcore! Skate rock is back and HOLIER THAN THOU? are at the helm, get used to it! CD version contains all 4 songs from the 7"" as a bonus!
HOLLOWING/ MAOR APPELBAUM - "collaborating torture" (HCB) - 6e, 360 den.
Collaborating Torture is one of the last known recordings made by Matt Gibney AKA Hollowing, who died in January 2006. Gibney, a member of SOIHADTOSHOOTHIM who was also running the important Rectrix label and mail-order, was joined here by the prolific Maor Appelbaum (Grave in the Sky, Poochaltz and Maurizio Bianchi, to name a few) to create a brooding and massive 54 minutes track of dark pitch-black ambient of hypnagogic swirls and industrialized drones. Sometimes subtle, yet mostly haunted and delirious, this is highly recommended if you like Wilt, Murderous Vision, Brighter Death Now, Aidan Baker, Z'ev, Daniel Menche, The Caretaker and John Duncan.
HOLY MOLAR - "the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth" 2x3"CD (31G) - 7e, 420 den.

The release is a six song EP and was recorded by Chris Pierce (Doc Hopper), engineered by Mike Hill (Anodyne) and mastered by Scott Hull (Visceral Sound).
HUMANBREED - "among millions of faceless humans" (TUNED TO YOU) - 4e, 250 den.
Here's some dark and fairly hard-edged melodic metalcore from Canada with some emo/indie rock tendencies, and the songwriting is actually really fucking good. They've got some great guitar interaction going on with melodic lead lines over chugging rhythms, dual guitar harmonies, creative chord progressions and arrangements etc. And in addition to a lot of clean breaks in the music, the vocals vary from great screams to even better singing (with some nice harmonization at times). Overall the dynamic shifts are fairly fluid and powerful. I love the bass work as well. The bass is a very important instrument here, and it shows. I'd be lying if I said this didn't sort of sound like a band that would be at home on a label like Trustkill, but with the right budget these guys would be way fucking better than most of that fashionable metalcore crap.
IMPACT - "80-87" - 7e, 420 den.

"Undefineable, uncatagorizeable, Infidel? / Castro! present a 14-part, 2-disc epic of electro-acoustic ambient metal destruction that travels the extremes of density and sparsity, speed and sluggishness, length and brevity, beauty and ugliness. Hyper-complex and hyper-epic, the band weaves an engrossing tapestry of spastic electronic carnage, sweeping melodic bliss, futuristic heaviness, and swirling, hypnotic walls of sound. Features Colin Marston of Dysrhythmia and Behold...The Arctopus. "
INTEGRITY - "salvation's malevolance" (WD SOUND) - 6e, 360 den.
japanese collection cd
IRE - "i discern an overtone of tragedy in your voice" (MOUNTAIN COLLECTIVE) - 5e, 300 den.
"Ire creates monstrous, desolate slow-motion nightmares out of drastically down-tuned guitars, roaring vocals, and painfully dragged tempos. These songs are genuinely eerie. A little double bass and even a blastbeat. And just how slow is Ire, you ask? Well, this LP is a half-hour long, and that's just four songs. "

JUMBOS KILLCRANE "carnaval de carne" (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 4e, 250 den.
Six tracks of angular barbarism from these Lawrence, KS cavemen with calculators. Awesome post-AM REP sludge rock, sorta like early NIRVANA on a pill bender jamming with US MAPLE. Think drunken prog rock cruising on gargantuan slabs of hammering distorto riffage and possessed wailing/crooning. This trio of grizzled Midwestern thugrockers deliver a squall of threatening runble and stutter. Cerebral and violent, subtle and thunderous,Carnaval De Carne sledgehammers the math-rock aesthetic into a twisted, towering monument of huge greasy riffs and defiant melodies. The latest evolution of pigfuck.
JUNE PAIK - s/t (SONS OF VESTA) - 5e, 300 den.
This german band from donauwÖrth plays epic and romantic screamo, a mix between orchid styled stuff, with funeral diner or even envy's slow parts. After a dark and very intense first 7" they JUNE PAIK debut LP this is heavier - darker and more epic then the last monster they've unleashed! think of One Eyed God Prophecy, at the same time giving the sound enough of themselves to keep it fresh like their contemporaries Shikari and Takaru. silkscreened digipack cd version.
KATASTROFIALUE - "tuskatakuu 1994-1998" (CRUCIAL BLAST) - 5e, 300 den.
Semi-discography of out of print and unreleased studio recordings from this lethal Finnish crustcore band. KRUPSKAYA - "clouds over pripyat" (SASSBOLOGNA) - 4e, 250 den.
"i've always had a soft spot for noisy, heavy, and chaotic bands. Bands that blaze (18 tracks in 18 minutes) through short tracks, painting a bleak picture of the world. KRUPSKAYA does these things and when I was finished listening the first time I felt like I had been run over by a truck, broken. This disc is themed around the Chernobyl disaster. I recognized the photographs on the front and back of the CD immediately---they were shots from Chernobyl---and I later learned that Pripyat was the town where all the workers lived that was abandoned because of the disaster. Noisy, chaotic metalcore with moments of grindcore reminding me of MORSER and a bit of WATCHMAKER. They took their name from the Marxist participant in the October Revolution and Lenin's wife, Nadezhda Konstantinovna Krupskaya. I'm off to find more music by this band." MRnR
KVOTERINGEN - "bister prognos" (TERROTTEN) - 5e, 300 den.
First, and long waited, full length from Sweden's Kvoteringen comes challenging all that Neo Crust hype: no epic and worked out melodies or whatever those bands do nowadays, just the best and flawless in your face raw PUNK sound. Really smoking and memorable riffs mixed with vocals that hit us like bombs against economic politics and humanity’s earth destruction make this once Jallo’s (Totalitär, Meanwhile, etc.) and Larre’s (Millencollin, IRD) “project” unique and memorable.
This album reminds me a lot the first wave hardcore bands in the early 80s, when it all was raw and fast. Third Kvoteringen release that Terrötten put out, but now with Calle on vocals, a local mad punk who 15 years ago played in the rawpunk band Blint Raseri with Larre. Nine new songs plus the two 7’’s released by Terrötten and two exclusive songs of the Pisschrist split 7". CD comes in a cute slipcase format with jewelcase inside.
LET'S GROW - neverending story (HA-KO) - 2e, 120 den.

LET'S GROW - "disease of modern times" (DIY CONSPIRACY)
14 songs of blasting hardcore from Belgrade, Serbia
LIFELOCK - "under pressure" (self released) - 0.5e, 30 den.
